Through our mentorship program, PWC Boston seeks to support, develop and inspire women in the AEC community by forming a group of three professionals to share experiences and learn from each during the program year (February to September).
Two entry or mid-level professionals are paired with a more experienced colleague in the AEC industry for the mutual benefit of all. The background, interests and goals of each member is thoughtfully considered by the mentorship committee when creating the triad.
In forming a group of three the intention is for the learning to become multi directional, with each member gaining from the support and experiences of the others. This less traditional format recognizes that each person, regardless of their years of experience or title, may bring valuable insights and inspiration to the group. For the junior members this program connects them to a larger network, provides meaningful time with a mentor and access to new career perspectives. The more senior professional gains insight into the viewpoint of emerging professionals as well as an opportunity to form friendships while passing on lessons learned over time.
In addition to the exposure of these invaluable real-life construction and industry experiences, the mentor and mentees are encouraged to attend programs and events offered by PWC.
