Education:  BS in Civil Engineering, Tufts University

 Years in the industry:  30+

Favorite thing about working in the AEC industry: The team effort in bringing beautiful designs to life – creating spaces that give people a reason to stop and take notice.

Most memorable professional experience: Riding in the glass funicular to Renzo Piano’s Building Workshop in Genoa. I was a part of the engineering team for the first iteration of the Fogg Museum and we had several days of design meetings in Italy.

Recent project you’re proud of (and why): The City of Boston Engagement Center with saam architecture. A place that will provide services to those in our City who need a helping hand.

Favorite place you’ve ever been: I spent a semester in Florence, Italy studying architecture and then returned for my honeymoon. A little bit of heaven on earth.

The one thing in the world that you cannot live without: My family; they are the light and joy of my life.

Why are you a member of PWC: Four years ago I was part of a group that met to discuss the formation of a PWC Chapter in Boston. We wanted to be a part of an organization that had as its mission the promotion of women and other underrepresented groups in the AEC professions. PWC provides best in class programing and opportunities for networking for professionals across many disciplines. We have delivered on this vision in a powerful way; I am so proud of all that we have accomplished.
